How it all began….

At the beginning of 2000, I set myself a lofty goal: organize the many printed photos my parents had collected over the years of our family life. After some thought, I decided to place all these precious memories into keepsake albums and dedicated my free time and energy toward this project.  

When this project was completed, I found myself left with plenty of extra materials and tools that I had bought and collected in order to do the job right! Not wanting to toss anything (waste not, want not) I decided to make something useful from the “scraps.”

The first card I made was very rudimentary, but I sent it off to a friend and continued to make more for my own personal use or to give away as gifts. I fell in love with design and learned what I could from other artists and on-line. As I gained knowledge, experience and received many encouraging compliments on my work, I started to sell them.

Over the years, my cards were available in various local artisan stores in MA from the city of Boston out to the suburbs of Acton. I discovered that I really enjoy the challenge of designing something new and the process of making something from items once cast aside. I also love the idea that I am able to spread a bit of joy and good cheer or comfort through the cards I create.

I am blessed and thankful for my family, loyal friends and my customers who have been a huge support. I started this website to share my upcoming events where I will be selling my cards in support of children’s education and a greyhound rehoming facility.
